BOISE CHILDREN’S PHOTOGRAPHER ❘ CHRISTMAS CARD OUTTAKES

I don’t attempt to take organized shots of my kids very often.  They’re on to me and my efforts to engage them with the camera and they rarely fall for it.  Bribes work, but only if I’m not the one delivering.  The afternoon for capturing Christmas card photos was upon us and despite the fact that neither had had a nap, we went for it.  Thankfully, I was able to salvage a few mediocre shots out of the 100 frames that were taken.  Mostly, however, they looked similar to these ones…  gotta love their holiday cheer!

Caption for the one of the kids by the tree “What do you mean Santa doesn’t know where Wilderness Ranch is!” I absolutely ADORE all your kids pictures. Keep up the good work.

bahaha! Love these and can totally relate with the faces ;) Outstanding job on the outfits and sled, LOVE the styling! They are perfect.

Anette - December 22, 2010 - 3:47 pm

I know how stressful the yearly Christmas card session is, but these are truly just perfect!!! It’s so typical that age and it’s like they know how important this is to you and therefore they refuse to cooperate:) I love them because this is what I get of my child often. Your children are beautiful crying or not:)

Charlotte - December 23, 2010 - 10:19 am

fantastic shots, I love how fresh and clean they look

Marilyn Alfrey - December 30, 2010 - 8:46 pm

I knew if these were the outtakes, I couldn’t wait to see the card!!! Love them all. E’s scowl with the sled is priceless!

BOISE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER ❘ SWEETNESS

Way past due for a new blog post so I thought I better make it extra sweet… this little guy was almost three weeks old when these were taken.  I was anticipating some sleeping, milk-drunk baby shots but it just didn’t happen.  He was wide wake, super sweet and perfectly happy the entire time, a good alternative for sure!

Jenn S - December 8, 2010 - 10:00 am

Sweetness, indeed. What a beautiful baby, and what beautiful images of him and his perfect innocence.

April - December 8, 2010 - 1:20 pm

He is such a cutie! I actually really like all of his open eyes shots. You don’t see those as often in newborn photography.

Alan - December 8, 2010 - 4:20 pm

BOISE PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER ❘ KRISTA & FRIEND

Krista is such a beautiful girl, in many more ways than one.  We both got up bright and early on a Saturday morning to get some pictures in a couple weeks back.  Toward the end of the shoot, Krista’s friend, Jodie, joined us for some fun.  They needed no reason whatsoever to have a good time together; it was quite apparent they are the best of friends.  Lots of laughing and goofiness going on that morning!

Friend sessions are a great alternative to solo senior portraits!  Contact me HERE for more information!
